well Jones this could be his future he has a choise save england or get out and get dropped out of the test team
how about Bell??
has thorpe andn Butcher both retired
Don't know about Butcher - or care since he's shite - but Thorpe has definitely retired.
I don't think they'll drop Jones. He's a far better batsman than Read and his keeping skills are adequate. As for Bell ... he should be dropped, he's failed 4 times now and looks completely out of his depth. A replacement should be found.
It's a pity Thorpe has retired as he would fit the bill nicely and would play as a wonderful foil to either Pietersen or Flintoff.
collingwood or key possibly
Butcher i dunno about sucked hes got a good record against Australia
goodbye jones goodbye england
Yeah, Collingwood would be the best bet. He bowls a bit and has scoerd three centuries in his last four county innings for Durham. Plus he had a good record in the limited over matches.
Butcher has one or two good scores against the Aussies but is getting pretty old now and he only averages about 32 in test cricket. I don't rate him. I don't rate Key either.
Unless they're prepared to give Collingwood a chance, I'd stick with Bell - he's obviously talented but he's not got enough experience with the five day game to be thrown in agianst the Aussies.
(Tho' I was worried about Pietersen for the same reason)
there screwed Flitoff wont be able to bowl with that injury either
now here comes your champion player Giles!!
hehe wern't you just saying how shit brett lee was yesterday
when you play aust they ALWAYS bounce back form any position there in
