I've never bought webspace before. I'm looking to get the best deal/best quality I can for about $10 a month. I will also need a very high bandwidth. And FTP. Where should I go?

I was going to go for atgig.com but their site was down. I don't think that's a good sign. I'm not picky, just don't want any trouble.

dream host might still have that 777 deal, 1&1 is also pretty cheap, free for 6 months

DreamHost’s 777 promotion code allows new DreamHost customers to sign up for the basic plan, which normally costs $9.95/mo, at $0.77/mo for the first year.

Dreamhost is 7.95 for 120GB. Unfortunatly, I don't have $50 for the setup fee.

    Host Excellence - $10 - 3gigs webspace - 100gigs bandwidth.

Dreamhost setup charge is waived if you pay for the entire year (or two) in advance I believe.

    1&1
    $10 - 2gigs space - 50gigs bandwidth

I wanted dreamhost because you could get billed monthly, but that damn setup charge. If I'm going to spend money I don't have, I think I'm going with a year of Host Excellence. But I haven't made any final decisions yet. I'll look into any suggestions.

yea if you just had the money up front that dreamhost is a killer deal with that promo code.

sorry that all the deals I know about, 1&1 had 6 months free but I guess they pulled that deal 5 months ago, my free service with them just ended not too long ago

    Web Site Storage: 5,000 MB
    Monthly Data Transfer: 110 GB
    Price: $4.95/month
It has Unmetered in pretty much everything else (cept Parked and Addon domains, 3 of each), cPanel, the works.
Stable server, I have been with them for 3 months and so far number of problems: 2. Once, for 2h, PHP scripts didnt parse. Second, for about 30 mins, server load was sky high.
I feel they are offering an excellent service for a very reasonable cost.
