Upgrading Mobo and CPU

im looking to upgrade my mobo and cpu, currently im running a amd athlon xp 2500+ overclocked to a 3200+ and a biostar m7ncd pro mobo. im looking to upgrade to a AMD 64 and a a new mobo of course. can anyone recommend me me a new mobo tat fits well with an AMD64 3200+, i need it to have an agp port cuz tats wat my videocard is rite now so... that about all i need, so if anyone could help me find a good mobo that would be very appreciative, thanx!

If you don't need the extra PATA porte, PATA raid or the extra SATA ports you could save money by dropping down from the Deluxe to the standard A8V.

Whichever you go for, don't forget that they all have 24-pin power connectors, so you are either going to have to upgrade your power supply, or if you think your current PSU is good enough find a 20-pin to 24-pin adapter.

Personally, I don't think it makes sense to buy into 64 bit chips without getting PCIe at the same time.
Both ATI and nVidia have stopped support for the new cards in AGP so you have no real video upgrade path with that interface.
There are some semi-decent, low-end PCIe cards available, so for $70-100 you can buy into an upgradable platform.

I much prefer the nvidia nForce4 chipset in the socket 939 boards.
The Gigabyte Ultra 939 has been very successful for the shop ( and me, too) and I'm now trying the DFI LP SLI DR, which is reputed to be the very hottest board for sport clocking.
