Another question, McCheese...
It's been unable to connect for a while (13 songs cached), so I'm wondering does that happen a lot and is there a way to check the server status, like on SS?

Yeah, they are down sometimes. Not all the time but enough for you to notice. I just sent ages trying to configure my brother's plug-in then realised they are probably down...
