Got to agree with you on Psycho IKE,when I was younger a film that scared me was The House on the Haunted Hill(original)
All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.
A couple of years ago I saw A remake of the exorcist in a small theater in Bolivia, the sound was sooo loud that I scared the hell at a scene where the telephone strts ringing...
good sound, makes half the horror!

The Avengers (1998) made me scream, headbutt the wall and attempt to gouge my eyes out.
Other than that not many (if any) horror films really scare me.
