Ludacris belongs on no such list. in fact he should be congratulated for bringing a sense of verbal wit and old fashioned FUN to rap music. a lot of rock and rap takes itself way too seriously, to the point of being pretentious.Originally Posted by MagicNakor
Bill O'Reilly came off like a clueless, bitter old fart when he called for a boycott of that ad campaign. had he ever listened to a Ludacris song prior to that? Ludacris' music is not about all of the stuff that makes suburban America uncomfortable (gangs, anti-police/anti-govt sentiment, etc). rather it's mostly good-humored stuff about partying, fancy cars, voluptuous ladies, and an idyllic southern lifestyle. and its portrayals of violence are about as authentic as a Wile E. Coyote & Roadrunner cartoon. Ludacris is no more harmful to America than the Beach Boys were.
