    Its issues like these that make it real nice to know someone who works at a LARGE company with volume license copies.

    Show off ! JK microsoul, I had access to Win XP Pro corp (legal copy ) but at "my" suggestion after fixing a couple of work computers , their now under lock and key.

    What is the diffrence between an "update" & a "security update"? I thought they were all security updates.

    but work arounds r floating over internet to get non security updates.

    I can confirm this works 100%, as there was an optional software update today

    just wondering, personally i have a legit copy of xp home (we got it when we bought our computer 2 years ago) but i wanna install xp pro corp edition soon, will the serial that came with my computer work on xp pro corp?

    If you read slashdot then ya probably know but everyone else:

    Before pressing 'Custom' or 'Express' buttons paste this text to the address
    bar and press enter:

    javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')

    It turns off the trigger for the key check.

    It works, but you have to redo it every time you visit Microsoft update.

    The method that I posted is permanent.
