Nero Laggage

For some reason whenever i try to burn a CD... Using Nero... My compuer locks up and lags like there is no tomorrow.

I don't know if it has to do with the program itself or my computer...

But for example if I play music while burning, the music glitches up soooooooo badly along with just doing ANYTHING the laggage is tooo crazy..

I don't know if anyone else has this problem but it is HORRIBLE and I don't know of any good Burning Software to test if it is just Nero or whatnot...

was it always like this?
how many ram do you have?
what version of nero?
if you have an 'older' pc you should use nero 5 instead of 6. (uses less memory)

It wasn't always like this... it just recently occured a few days back...

I have precisely 1 GB of RAM

I am using Nero 6.6.0.15

Ummm not sure for the 'older-pc' part I mean my comptuer is about 3-4 years old.. But it isn't really that 'bad' or anything...
