My parents never minded age restrictions on videos or computer games. By the time I hit my teens I was allowed to watch pretty much what I wanted with the exception of porn of course. The local video shop-owner felt much the same way. That was nigh 15 years ago mind, and when I worked at Virgin Megastore things were much stricter.

If I ever have children...I'll put them up for adoption.

Harry Potter should have an age restriction of about thirty.

To protect the young and innocent

When you say "Everything" , are you talking about "Everything"? meaning driving, sex, drinking, voting etc etc etc?
Or are you talking about entertainment restrictions?

And yes, restrictions are good, you get a 7y/o watching the Ring, they wont forget it in a hurry.
There's a million examples of why clasifications are put on movies, music , games etc.

The only people who really dissagree are the 17y/o who wanna buy San Andreas but can't for 6 months lol.

Admittedly they get it wrong sometimes, like with Jurassic Park, there is no way in hell that should have been a PG, no way no way!, kids screaming with terror in cinema's, parents having to take their kids out of the cinema.
Trouble being the certifacte PG does'nt actually carry an age restriction, you just have to have a parent with you unless you're over 12.

    Anyway.....

    I'm for age restrictions.

Some of the local kids let me keep the change from their tenner when I get them four cans, a packet of skins and 20 Lamberts from the local offie.
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

--Good for them if they survive.

Restricted for the over sixties too. I am at risk.

I'm glad you didn't bring up the old "weigh the same as a duck" joke. He would have felt offended.
