True Internet Booster

Is there a TRUE internet booster oout there because all the ones ive had are fake and take up so many resources anyone know of a way i can make my internet faster...(mostly referring to webbrowsing but download speed increase would be nice too)
right now my max dl is 500kB and my upload is 50kB so that sucks SORTA

Yep, there is a true internet booster. It's called "Go find a better ISP package".

500 kilobytes down is really good though... How can you complain about that when most people who even have broadband in the USA either have 1.2mbit connection or a 3.0mbit connection... And in a lot of places, anything over 3.0mbit is way too expensive.

I don't think any of those gimmick internet speed boosters do anything?!? ...

You can try the tweak test from here.
Then use DR TCP in conjuction with the advice from the Tweak Test.
I seen some pretty good improvements on my ADSL line. My down speed improved almost 20%.
It didn' do anything for my up speed tho

A friend of mine signed up for this and tells me really works but I haven't tried it myself.
