Well, not to be outdone by UNS Octanews has set up a free account for all to use this weekend also here's the details...

Maximum 64 connections per server on my side (total of 192
connections). This may change as I will be watching my bandwidth
usage closely.

This account will expire tomorrow (July 31st, 2005) after 9:00PM CDT
(August 1st, 2005 2:00AM UTC/GMT).

Maximum of 4 connections per connected IP address.

Each connection is 1Mbps for bandwidth limit. Amount of data transfer
allowed, though, is not metered. This is for article bodies.

Header download is limited to 1.5Mbps per connection.

Customer web interface does *not* work for this login.

Posting is not allowed, not even to the local groups.

Access to posting server is also not allowed.
