I performed a full system scan using avg and it indicated that I was infected with a trojan. I decided to double check the results using trend micro's house call, but strangely it reported I was clean. I'll give you more details later, but right I don't know what to do.

Google the virus /trojan that was found. Then from there, find a fix. Problem solved. I would also make sure to update that AVG your using to latest def's. Then rerun a scan. And also as an extra precaution, run a different AV program . Ex. Nod32, Kaspersky?
Also it could be that AVG has already deleted your trojan/virus or w/e.
