some movies ( xvid ) i try to convert on tmpgenc to vcd/svcd have no sound . Can anyone tell me why and a solution to this problem.

its the problems with Xvid, you have to extract the wav sound from the original file first, and then in TMpgenc locate the wav file in the sound source.

That's because u just encoded it on ES(Video only) put it on System (Video+Audio) but know if u want sound u have to just extract the .wav out of the .avi file the convert it to .mp2 and then mutiplex it, there are guides here htttp://www.dvdrhelp.com
