1) CoolStreaming works by opening up a port on your computer and then saves a file to your hard disk and then some stuff happens about which I dont know. Generally the more people on the stream the better.
YOU NEED A REALLY QUICK CONNECTION TO USE THE STREAMS AS SOME
OF THEM ARE 740KBPS .

OTHERWISE IF YOU HAVE A SLOW CONNECTION (AROUND 1MB)
TRY THIS IF U ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TOO MUCH BUFFERING

to all who have buffer probs,i have a 1mb connection and it bufffered like fook,so i fooked round with settings for fookin ages ,and now it works like a dream,what i did was go to (IN WMEDIAPLAYER) ---tools --options--network and then in the four boxes marked multicast-udp -tcp-http..make sure only http is checked ,in streaming proxy settings ,normally all four are ticked..click on http -configure and then autodetect settings,this should now work,,,make sure u recheck the four boxes if u already had them ticked,,....good luck......

I have a 10mbps so i cant really test this out
but metalhead is very experienced at this so i trust him chek it out

Also in the tool >options>performance tab
1) Set your conncection speed manually
2) Change your buffer settings to 40 seconds(or 60).It might improve stream.

also YOU CAN TRY A DIFFERENT MEDIA PLAYER
ONE THAT IS NOW TRIED AND TESTED IS VLC

DOWNLOAD IT FORM HERE
THEN ONCE YOU HAVE CLICKED ON A CHANNEL IT WILL OPEN IN WMP
AFTER ITS OPEN,IN WMP CLICK ON FILE>PROPERTIES
AT THE BOTTOM YOU WILL SEE "LOCATION:http://localhost:****/1.asf" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.COPY THAT LINK.
THEN OPEN VLC CLICK ON FILE>OPEN NETWORK STREAM
THEN PASTE THE LINK INTO THE FIRST ADDRESS BAR.
IT WILL START STREAMING AND THE QUALITY IS WORLD CLASS!!

This is where to get it.

4) Intsall It and then to use a channel double click and wait.It will open up WMP(you need WMP 10) an play. There are three main sports channels AS OF KNOW
CCTV5, GuangDong Sports and ESPN

5) ESPN NEVER BUFFERS AFTER LIKE 30 MINS (IF U DUN DOWNLOAD ANYTHING)

6) If you have problems look around the posts to see if someone has had a
similar problem.

7) If there is no game you want to watch STILL PLS keep your WMP running.
It works like BT so dont be selfish. Just leave the stream open.

8) Don't post the links or shcedules separately on other websites.

9) DONT COMPLAIN IF THE STREAMS SUCK. There is nothing anyone can do
other then get on the stream.

10) If you want better streams PAY for them !!!!
