gotta go with nod32 (eset now) or malwarebytes
nod32 and Kaspersky sound like big farkin viruses
Windows Defender is enough.
I've been using Kaspersky for a while now and no complaints yet.
Another vote for defender. I have never had any luck with any of them.
I'm so old I remember when Norton wasn't a piece of crap (pre-2003). Anyway, here's one for those who want to try something different.

"I just remembered something that happened a long time ago."
I use Kaspersky for my parents' computer. It has kept my dad out of trouble for years now. Extending the subscription is a easy as adding the new code to the account.
I used to use McAfee for him, but he seemed to get a virus every six months.
I use Bitdefender for my wife, myself and my kids. I like the family management tools, particularly with the kids. And it also seems to keep everyone out of trouble.
