Im not sure about converting the MDS to .CUE but from what i've found arn't the .MDS files only a few kb large, with the .MDF file being the massive one holding all the data. If it is just the small file you've missplaced/messed up then im sure someone who has the game can just email it to you or PM you a link. I don't have the game myself as im British and don't like the American version of Football.

NM, I got it working finally. I just converted it to CD Clone and all is well. Time to see what I can do with these Colts! Music sucks, but I will add my own MP3's 8O).

You might want to remove your email address above, people and 'bots' scan forums for peoples emails to add to spam lists.

I have a problem someone here might be able to help on.

I have both alcohol 120% 1.9.5 and daemon tools 3.47 installed. I have tried every single tip on here but whenever I launch the game it freezes on the loading screen. I've tried with safedisk emulation on and off and all emulation off with the same results. I get no error message just Mcnabb staring at me endlessly like he knows something I don't. I've tried the alcohol and daemon tools forums but no luck. I evne tried the ea site and whats really funny is they show how to disable alcohol and daemon tools emulation so the game will run on their own site . I almost fainted when i saw the link here .

i am having the same problem. i have updated all my drivers. checked everything several times. even gotten two different torrents. it locks up in the 2nd to last red dot on the d.mcnabb screen before the menu loads. i have only dt and have tried alcahol, to the same thing. took it back off and again have the current version on daemon, seems like i have tried everything, if you can help please do....

Exact same problem here... loads up to second to last dot and then nothing. Forces a reboot. So frustrating. Please help.

try this you guys that get stuck at loading screen.....

i found a forum where someone had the same problem, i renamed the music folder in the game directory to anything but music and now my game will fully load the only thing now is i dont have menu music but the game runs fine apart from that, hopefully this will work for some of you too.


C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Madden NFL 06\Music
rename it to something like this
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Madden NFL 06\WORK

thanks DrBeerMan, worked like a charm after renaming MUSIC folder.

Looks like they haven't worked out the kinks yet... I can't even use my mouse to select menu options... to move the mouse cursor, I have to keep clicking while moving... ridiculous.

No, the two 'soccer' (read: Football) games out right now are very good. Teh shit game is for the American version of Football, which is basically ram, tackle and hurt as many other Americans as possible, then shout hut hut two four hut.

edgerate, try going in to settings for the game, settings/systemsettings/video and setting limitmenu speed to yes.

Also while your at it settings/systemsettings/Audio change the audio path to a folder that you have your mp3's in.

found out the problem.. I madden had a problem with my mp3 codecs so i had to rename the music folder.. runs fine now.
