If there is a particular reason you object to me agreeing with you I would be interested to hear it.Originally Posted by GepperRankins

i don't know what you're saying
No, Jp you're missing my point, yes top whack cars corner better than top whack bikes generally, but a top whack bike will corner better than an every day car.
Therefor the statement "Cars corner better" is incorrect through generalisation.
Some cars corner better than some bikes, some bikes corner better than some cars.
And to back up geps argument, .......bikes are a hell of a lot more fun

@Gep.... Yeah he does that to me
isn't that because they're being scrapped off the road?Originally Posted by Jon L. Obscene
also, i would have thought bkes would handle better than cars, because they're far lighter

You're wrong, a decent car will out-corner a top whack bike.Originally Posted by Jon L. Obscene
Bikes just aren't very good at cornering, it's inherent in their design. They just feel and look better at it, apparently.
It's one of those things which people take to be true, because it "makes sense" but it isn't.
If your position is that a top of the range bike corners better than a bag of shite car, then I can't really argue with that, but it proves feck all.
That gives them a better power to weight ratio. Handling has to do with traction (rubber on the road) and balance.Originally Posted by DarthInsinuate
Four tyres, flat on the road, are much better than two tyres at a 45 degree angle.
i'm beginning to wonder if the theory that cars corner better is right. bikes can accelerate out quicker and can use a larger turning radius
