Well if ur ping is always that high it has to be ur connection... Also it depends on where the server is located. Also I don't know if this applies to DSL but for Cable, if there are a lot of people in your area using it then it will be slower. I have 4 mbps and sometimes I get over 100 ping and other times as low as 20 ping, it all depends.

That sucks. I got kicked ut of the French server for having it too high.

Read my edit and yes try that too. Internet connection speed is always lower than advertised and also could be a problem with ur router.
