no one can give u a exact estimate. ur computer's value depreciates all the time.
go to your buyers (like ebay), and find out the current price's for the parts in your computer.
You don't sell a used assembly (like a PC) based on the price of the individual parts...it's priced as a whole.Originally Posted by abu_has_the_power
Depending on the machine ( definitely NOT the one in question here) there might be more to be made if it was stripped and parted out, but typically it's priced as a unit.
If PhEl has all the software discs that is a plus...many used machines lack software and MS's PID, which leaves the new owner up the creek should Windows fail.
That PC would be priced around $125 in our shop and we'd be happy to dicker down to $100 just to kick it out the door. Naturally, that assumes that it was "donated" to begin with (all of our refurb machines are) and we have no money tied up in it.
We wouldn't offer anything if he just walked in and tried to straight sell it to us.

yep. just like how cars loose 20% the second u get it from the dealer
i'd recommend u sell your computer piece by piece. not everyone wants to buy the whole computer
Well... That's the way it works for a retail store. They're only purpose to be in business is to make profits.
This PC, on the other hand, is a private sale. The seller can decide what he wants for it and try to sell it. If the buyer is willing to pay what he wants then that's what it's worth.
