Dimmu Borgir is alright, not the best, i like the melodic style they play (which doesn't mean i like all their songs, only a select few).

Jeff Loomis: He's so good, he doesn't need to be dead to have a tribute.

Watcha gonna do..there 16-17 years old. The originality is only just starting to come out. But they can put on a good show thats for sure.

Metal is a hard thing to get into...the main audience is in europe lol. I'm not a big fan of it, if he wasnt in this band I wouldnt listen to it at all. But you gotta stick by your own.

Don't get me wrong, they are impressive, especially for being 16-17 y/o's. That sort of discipline of the limbs and extremities takes time to get down, and they've done so at a pretty early age... But now, try and learn one of their songs by just listening to the song (by ear), And you'll understand why we were so impressed that the guy in the videos, was playing all those Slipknot songs note perfect, only learning by ear.

Death Metal originated in Tampa, Florida...So that's pretty domestic....If you're an American.

we can just keep talking about random stuff so....

dimmu borgir, i think, is pretty good at what they do. i dont consider myself knowledgable in that 'field' of the metal genre (there is some real sides to be taken in the whole black metal scene, it's ridiculous [in fact i might get pissed on for calling them black metal ]), but i like the way they incorporate their synths.

like, 'mourning place,' has those cool harp sounding lines in the chorus. the instrumentals, 'fear and wonder,' and 'perfection or vanity' also have cool arrangements imho. there's always this borgir vs. filth thing going on and i'd pick borgir personally.
