You're obviously overlooking the many uses of goats.

They produce meat.
They produce milk.
They produce milk that can be made into cheese!
They produce leather.
They provide a garbage disposal.
They can keep your grasses nice and clipped.
They produce fertilizer.

If it's a long-haired goat, you can make yarn.
I think you *could* make glue out of them, if you really wanted to.
They provide a type of home security, seeing as they bleat whenever someone comes near.
