    All sorted!
Scuba Delayed Surface Marker Buoy NEW £12.54
    Scubapro MK2 / R190 Regulator / R190 Octopus S/H eBay £61
Tigullio Searider BCD S/H eBay £61
    Faber 15ltr Cylinder NEW £120 inc tax & p&p from adventuresindiving.co.uk

Had to get a new cylinder as if I buy one out of test date it will cost me around £50 to get a test on it, pretty pointless buying second hand.
The BCD is almost like new, been used only on 3 dives.
The regs are 4 years old, like new condition.

    well pleased with my setup,
keeping the cost to a minimum is the way to go

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for some years now.

So far today I've got of ebay,
    BCD - Tigullio Searider,
    SCUBAPRO REGULATOR Mk2 1st Stage With R190 2nd Stage & R190 Octopus.
    Both at a great price.

all I need now is a console "pressure & depth gauge"
and a couple of 12 ltr tanks, the tanks I can't get off ebay as it's a non postable item, only local pickup.
new price will be around £140 for each tank, I would rather buy second hand so long as the tanks are in test.

i've already got things like wetsuit, fins, mask, ect
I do a lot of snorkelling; the water gets quite clear in the summer as you can see by the pictures.
    This is me

I wonder if anyone has had a go at snorkelling or Scuba Diving,
    would be nice to know.
I think it's a great thing to try out, we have quite a few shipwrecks just offshore and underwater gullies.
Well.. it has been a few years since I did any serious scuba diving... but the Oosterschelde sea arm in The Netherlands is great for Scuba Divers :fact:..also it's close to a well know coffee-shop... lol

I till prefer scuba over snorkelling. snorkelling for me is just like watching fishes in the aquarium, while scuba makes you feel you're one with the sea and fishes. ^_^

    This is one of our local shipwrecks "SS Rosalie" Lat / Long : 52 ° 57 ' 0 '' North - 1 ° 8' 30'' East
it's very close to shore, but it's very deep, around 16mtrs
    Weybourne norfolk UK

@ thewizeard, I bet the waters are very good, coffee shops, omg! I don't think I would be diving if i smoked some coffee shop stuff

@ Spenz, I agree snorkelling is good but you are very limited, I just had to get the diving gear this year, the water is so good at the moment.
I'm quite lucky with the amount of Local shipwrecks on this coastline.

    Cool

Scuba Party Boy (Dry Test Dive)

I'm all set for my birthday dive tomorrow,
I want to see if it's possible to drink a tin of special Brew in one shot @ 20Mtrs.
I don't think it's been done before with beer, so it will be interesting, I just hope I don't puke it up.
