Dave Lombardo! From Slayer, Testament, Grip Inc., etc.
Twelve pages and no mention of Gene or Buddy? At least Clyde Stubblefield made the first page...
Treat yourselves to a little Krupa & Rich though - amazing.
John Bonham
Lars Ulrich
Dont remember if I posted (too lazy to go through 12 pages), my picks:
1) Chris Adler -- Makes dual bass unboring and doesnt go overkill on them but still utilizes them perfectly, have fun trying to emulate that, best drummer I've heard up until this point in time. All his fills and rolls are top-notch, I have yet to find floor toms that sounds like his, its quite unique.
2) Dave Lombardo -- Bow down for you are not worthy
3) Joey Jordison -- Fast feet and overall excellent techniques, def. one of my favourites.
4) Lars Ulrich -- Although not complex drumming, he's still a kickass drummer, and the fact that he makes not-so-complex drumming good should make you think twice.
Honoroble Mention: Derek Roddy (fasted dual bass I've ever seen/heard but that's all he's good at).

Jeff Loomis: He's so good, he doesn't need to be dead to have a tribute.
no contest, john bonham
