Got a good chuckle reading the title to this thread.

I use both bittorrent and usenet, some things seem to turn up quicker on torrents but usenet has the better download speed.

It always comes down to the same thing, use whatever works for you.

I use both. Once my monthly 2gb on Comcast are up I switch to torrents.

    I really am into Torrents.
You do get the best torrents for practically everything.
Private trackers have the best stuff
I have used usenet but found it good for movies and software.
    It completely fails with e-learning.
If anyone has some nzb sites for e-learning do let us know

For all the torrent users out there who aren't convinced that the usenet is the best way to share content, check this article out on slyck.com

It talks about all the advantages the usenet has over p2p.

I've just started using Usenet via Giganews Platinum. Download Speed is obviously superior, however the search process is not as elegant as with private torrent sites. Bitmetv neatly lists new releases and organizes them into categories, whereas searching for a 0-day tv release on newzbin, binsearch etc is very messy.

You have to find a good combo between the sites. I get all the shows I'm interesting in from http://www.tvnzb.com/nzb. For games I use this site and binsearch. For movies and programs I just use this site and sometimes binsearch to get stuff that's not posted.

I have tried all the NZB sites that has been posted here and other places and none of them has it all.
