I'm looking for an updat(ed/able) antivirus that doesn't use a lot of resources. Does anybody know one? The PC is a 486 with 16 MB RAM...

Duties are not performed for duty's sake, but because their neglect would make the man uncomfortable. A man performs but one duty - the duty of contenting his spirit, the duty of making himself agreeable to himself.

i know, if i'd buy an antivirus the AV would be worth more then the pc (although it's a portable *cough*...)
but well, thanks for your responses, i'll tell my brother to just be careful with it... (and switch off macro's in office...)

Use AVG, that really does use hardly no pc resources and is very solid, try it.
One thing, do NOT use norton. Has the best protection but slows your pc right down. You have to comprimise with AV's but AVG is my favourite.
