Like I said - There's having light-hearted fun, then there's pushing it. Nicking wallets & cars, shell suits, etc are light-hearted - Most are from Harry Enfield (BTW I did used to watch it - Haven't seen it in a while though) and are half-BS most of the time. The single-parent thing was too far - Even for me, and I generally accept any Scouse-related jokes well

I don't mind a good joke, but if something's going too far I will say so. Here's where it went too far.
