Here's a tip: Google for the words "MSN messenger security flaw"

Lamsey there you go again with the security flaws of msn messenger. If you read the articles posted in google those flaws apply to a version of the messenger already outdated by nearly a year. There are no flaws now unless there is serious hacking involved and like we all know they don't need msn messenger to get in.

    mmm, sounds interesting...

Do you mean the firewall is poorly configured? Or do you mean a vulnerability specific to a certain version of firewall? Or are you talking about spoofing your address to be 127.0.0.1 and hacking 'blind' so to speak?

I've always thought a well configured firewall thats not vulnerable to a specific exploit would be pretty damn hard to "bust". How do you do it and how do you secure yourself against that technique?

These two site are good at checking your computer's security. The sygate scan website will scan your ports.

The only thing i've ever gotten from msn was the whitehouse virus thing. Where the people who are infected send a picture to you without knowing (which is the virus). Puts your name at @whitehouse.com or @billclinton.com. and makes you flood with smileys and such. Put was easy to get rid off. All i had to do was uninstall msn and reinstall it.

its very simple to use for all u newbies in port scanning and stuff jus read and check if u have any open ports

    Short description

Angry IP scanner is a very fast IP scanner for Windows. It can scan IPs in any range, even 1.1.1.1 to 255.255.255.255. Its binary file size is very small compared to other IP scanners. I've seen good, fast and small TCP port scanners, but not IP scanners (and not freeware). Angry IP scanner simply pings each IP address to check if it's alive, then optionally it is resolving hostname and tries to connect at specified in Options dialog box TCP port.

It also has additional features, like NetBIOS information (computer name, workgroup name, currently logged in user and MAC address), results saving to CSV, TXT, HTML or XML file, can be used as a command-line utility in a batch file, etc.

It is using separate threads for each scanned address to increase scanning speed.

It is free, so use it at your own risk. I am not responsible for anything you do using this program.

Angry IP Scanner is an open source program
