Help with windows xp

Just a guess but you " went back to XP " I'm thinking you did n't install your Video drivers ? You may be using the Windows geniric ones , try updating them .

I had a similar problem once and I went to run,opened services.msc, and turned on wireless zero configeration. This is also if your wireless software wont start up or freezes, you should be able to use the WZC. As far as the directx problem, make sure all drivers are up to date.
