I did this once and figured it out.
Every two digit number, from 10 to 99, when added like told and subtracted like told, results as a multiple of 9. 9, 18, 27, and so on. And if you notice: 9, 18, 27, and so on always have the same symbol, but everytime the page loads they all have the same but a different symbol.

in the same column, every number gets the same result as told:
for example:
99 -> 81
98 -> 81
...
so 81, 72, 63, .... you will get the same symbol every time.
