me thinks not , just a new studio technique to hype up the film fan community's
godzilla 1 , didnt get people as hype up as they liked so they have tried doing it this way, hat's off to them , it worked a treat.

With all the hype it is bound to fail. Who knows though, i have been very upset with the quality of movies these days. The last 2 years nothing that was amazing came out. The Lord of the Rings was the last GREAT movies to be released. since then? 300 was a great movie some others. I hope cloverfield has a good story, not just a run n hide movie with some good special effects.?

The camera itself. The monster is nothing more then a POV shot with audio. They make it seem like Godzilla is attacking New York. I hope this doesn't disappoint it would be ashame.

this.
movie starts off plain & annoying then moves to meh. wasn't enough to keep me interested, but i did finish it. it's a monster movie.. where the hell is the monsters eating ppl? hell, that's the ONLY reason i watched it. they got attacked once and that was pretty much it. monsters did seem kinda cool and much more could have been added to this short 80 min film. ending ends abruptly. 6/10
