    Sounds better a lot of the time. Mostly because the sound engineers mastering the vinyl take more care than those transferring it to CD (yes, they're usually different people). Anyway, don't forget Pedro's.

    vinyl sounds better when it's pressed from analogue mastertapes, especially when it comes to old recordings and because it's simply not digital.

    the only reason why electronic music is published on vinyl is, that many djs still prefer to work with vinyl because they're used to cut/mix with it.

    ripping electronic (digitally generated) music from vinly is a great waste of time when there is a cd version.

    no mainstream music today is mastered analogue anymore.

    there are a few bands (jamiroquai for example) who do it sometimes, but those are great exceptions.

    vinyl only sounds better when it comes to music that is produced and mastered non digital.

    I assume he's looking for older music. And I disagree about there being no differences between CD and vinyl in modern music. In Rainbows is the most recent example, but compare LPs from Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions, Cat Power, Slowdive with their CD pressings.

    CD>vinyl
    alot of dj's use it nowdays becuase they are used to vinyls, but cd is superior in many ways (price, sound quality etc.)

    yes it's a special tracker but lot's of users here mean that its hard to join f_n or s_t but it's not hard ...but on this tracker i have the problem that i don't know someone so its maybe hard but i try it in some weeks.
