I tend to prefer torrents simply because warez usually have more viruses as they downloads. Also, you can always see how many seeders and leechers are on a torrent, which gives you an indication about how successful the torrent is.

After three copyright infringement notices & never getting in with a good private tracker, message boards with RS links is the way to go for me. Downloads are MUCH faster. No more waiting 11 to 16 hours for a 6 gig torrent.
Edit: I'm not saying that RS is better than torrents. Private trackers are probably better when there are many seeders. Plus they're free! I'm not sure if the speed is better though. The best speeds I've ever seen ranged from a steady 500 kbs to 600 kb/s. I'm just saying that right now, RS is better for Herrick

If I'm not wrong... warez stands for anything distributed illegally.... that includes torrent, rapidshare, ftp and all other sources.
torrent is one among those. I prefer torrents than others, coz, itz resumeable and requires much less time and attention, never used usenext and stuffs like that... but, the best filesharing method i know is torrents...
