Japanese have sex an average of 45 times annually, less than half the global average of 103.

So sad. No wonder Japan is the world's most nerdiest country in the world.

If you look at the demographics, doesn't Japan have a really elderly population compared to everywhere else? That might explain things a little better, rather than perceived "nerdiness".
