If you heard, numbers don&#39;t really tell you much now. 3DMark found out that the 5900 was rigged so that it can do well in the 3DMark2003 benchmarking program. ATI&#39;s was also rigged, but when 3DMark released a patch that fixes the riggs, the stats show that the 9800Pro actually does well compared to the 5900 Ultra. [/b][/quote]
yea it does well but not better but yea well and say where do i get this 3dmark software i would like to test my PC with it(PS 850mhz is faster than Light )

to many posts to read. but if u havent bought the lcd yet thats good, dont get a 15" lcd, get a 17" and make sure its not a ADI because every last adi lcd montiro has color and power problems. sony is pretty good i here, but they are pricey yeh? .. and about the vid card, who said the gffx5900 is 200&#036; ??? ...where i am its a 600-700&#036; card. ( im in aus ).

512mb ddr

and doom III runs good at about 40fps untill i shoot a zombie then it goes to abuot 10fps lol.

ummmm 1 more thing, the gfti4600 [leadtek] is discontinued so good luck finding 1. you can find 2nd hand one maybe. i was gonna get the gfti4600 but i tried about 12 diff places and the dont stock and cant even order it from leadtek anymore.

thanks. if a gforce fx 5200 can&#39;t play doom 3 that well, at least it will be able to play half life 2, and most of the other games. besides, i&#39;m getting a new comp in 3 years, and i have my old 1 for 4 years, still working good. so i shouldn&#39;t have a prob. and besides, i don&#39;t have to set all the settings in doom 3 to extreme, just enough to play the game, like i said before. So thanks a lot people. if u want to post more, feel free to do so. but since i already bought the computer today, i guesst he discussion or argument if u will is pretty much over. thanks people 4 ur helpful contributions to help a fellow pirator.
