IDM is the best,gigaget second, flashget can download both direct and torrent but really slow,
flashget is the best in my opinion

I also highly recomnend IDM. I've tried a bunch of downloaders, then stumbled upon IDM and never looked back since.
Demonoid usually always has the latest versions.

FlashGet is pretty good, i use it for Rs downloads(premium downloads), it let u download .torrents too
. I used flashget so far and I am happy with it but I read all the posts here and now actually I couldn't decide which one is the best.
may be there is allready? i don't know,
I think it should be put to a vote to find out the answer.
