I have occasionally recapitulated my thoughts/feelings this time of year.

I still think (at this point in time, anyway) the world of everyone I've ever corresponded with in this place.

In six years, I have given up on precisely two people here, people who have left without my having chased them away.

My friends know who they are, and I think I've attained a modest degree of popularity or something like it.

I am comfortably aware of those who think me a buffoon.

My affection for this board and it habitues is unabated.

Nothing at all wrong with any of that, really.
