Trillian is good. I was saying that Miranda was to basic for me. Tillian supports the major protocols.

gut another called gaim at sourceforge.net also supports more protocols...

I tryed it after they showed it on Tech TV's The Screen Savers. I didn't like it at all. The program isn't all that great.

Trillian supports Yahoo!, MSN, ICQ, IRC, and AOL instant messengers. I use the free version (Trillian 0.74), but the pro version has many more options. And you have access to all of them on one menu.
