    No but serious Abu, I wouldnt worry about it using too much electricity, it goes into its own stand by kinda state if its like most optical mouses.

    Also, what I do, is just cut my power strip off when I go to sleep. (After I shut down my computer) I have my light, speakers, lava lamp, PDA cradle and computer all hooked up to it, so instaed of turning them all off, I do it in one flick.


    Also, a small thing, if you are still having hibernating/stand by probs, Dont froget to enable hibernation int he Power settings of the control panel.

    Yes, but LEDs take up a miniscule amount of electricity, so it won&#39;t break the bank

    thanks guys, i got the standby and hibernate thing working. not sure bout mouse though, but if it&#39;s normal, then ok
