    AHHHH right sorry good idea guys. I thought you meant the whole plug. I guess that would be a cord now that I think of it.

    Most power cords have the plugs moulded straight onto the cable these days, so you've no choice but to cut them off.

    Obviously any which can be dismantled can simply be removed and re-attached to the shortened cable.
