    Actually, Vlc pretty much plays everything...but the higher res formats do seem to get the better of it, i couple it with MPC and waala! Problem solved, still do have some issues with MPC going fullscreen though, it goes into a corner and kinda zooms into a spot, so it's like wathcing a freckle on the face of the character rather than the movie :p, i'll sort it out after i roll back to Xp, my piece o shit clearly can't handle the stupid OS(AKA vista), really really old hardware...

    KMplayer is my player of choice these days, handles more stuff and handles it better than VLC.

    MPC is my player of choice. VLC suddenly becomes retarded when it handles subs.

    VLC + Mplayer is all anyone needs. I agree when it comes to HD material VLC just cannot handle it well enough compared to other players, hence the Mplayer.
