K-lite Codec Pack Problem

I was having issues with AVI Preview, so I uninstalled the K-Lite Codec pack (v 2.20) and re-installed it with the AVI directshow splitter unchecked (as I have read on the forum).

Well AVI preview is working again but now I have a new problem. NONE of my avi's play on Media Player anymore! Can anyone offer any help on this?

Well I found the fix. I uninstalled it again, and re-installed it with avi directshow splitter checked. Then I followed Paul's fix:

Start > Run > regsvr32 /u avisplitter.ax
Start > Run > regsvr32 quartz.dll

Thanks Paul!! Everything is working as it should now.
