I like your thoughts, Lord Sith. Very well organized. Nice thread.
I wish I could overclock my cpu, but as I went cheap and got a dell, that is not really a possibility.

Yeah I prolly shouldn't OC either and likely won't now that I know the limitations of my mobo. I got a ASUS P4S800 MOBO. My multiplier is locked of course (damn intel ) and while I can increase my clock speed there's no real AGP/PCI fix (impossible to lock to 66/33 MHz) and I can get only 1.6 V for the CPU.Originally posted by adamp2p@10 October 2003 - 20:14

Oh well, I should be happy with what i got. I'd like to get a new MOBO but I really want a new vid card first. At least the P4S800 support 8x agp and 800MHz FSB Intel Pentium 4 with HT technology.
So much hardware so little money. LOL
102mhz gee wish i could do that, but the p2 is locked
Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!
BTW thats one hechuva score. really puts my crappy fx5200 into perspective.Originally posted by adamp2p@10 October 2003 - 18:57

[sarcasm] Thanks alot [/sarcasm]

Hey man, and I swear there was virtually no image problems at that clock. I tried playing Midnight Club 2 at those settings (my new favorite game, thanks to a suggestion by 3rd gen noob).
I am about to go to this restaraunt to pick up some take out. When I come back I am going to go back to those exact settings and see if I can maintain the same stability.
Oh, and a tip: disable your virus protection before entering a game. Serious resource hogs!
