You dont need a cd key to play the game but you do need one to be able to play multiplayer!

i downloaded the rip long time ago, and it didnt work without the key, so i just got one from a friend. i believe it is a 1 cd game but i could be wrong, it is pretty good so maybe

when it ask for my my cd-key i just went down to the join a server icon and i played

perhaps you got lucky my friend, if u got it to work without a valid key, then im happy for ya

btw- the original game is indeed 2 cds (a full 1.56 gb)! B)
