Cd-rw Drive Very Slow...help Please

i had a lite-on CD-RW.. man it burnt up after 1 month's use for no reason!
Peice of @#$%*. i hate that company now lol
They wont give warrenty on it ether.. said damaged hardware is'nt valid.

Check your 'Device Manager'. Everything look ok there? Also check the IDE cables. Make sure they fully connected.
