    i had a lite-on CD-RW.. man it burnt up after 1 month's use for no reason!
    Peice of @#$%*. i hate that company now lol
    They wont give warrenty on it ether.. said damaged hardware is'nt valid.

    Check your &#39;Device Manager&#39;. Everything look ok there? Also check the IDE cables. Make sure they fully connected.

    Do dvd burners tend to burn up this faster?
