I'm using a subwoffer & speaker system i bought for my ps2. I got rid of the ps2 but the sound sytem is quite clear and 300w,so i kept it and hooked it up here.

i've got video logic zxr-500 speaker ( i think, not sure on the lettering, may be the other way round) they're nice and clear sound, fairly cheap, and loud enough. the walls in my house a paper thin, so it would be pointless me having anything more powerfull as everone would complain.

as it is i run my speakers on 15 to 20% volume most of the time anyway

Yup I feel your pain (or to be honest I don´t really care much, atleast not for pc use or movie watching).
