Some of you say amazon, I find that amazon got wrong listings.

I use www.allmusic.com, it's a brilliant site with well written reviews and articles. Something else i really like there is the hot linking of influences and similar artists; i've discovered loads of music this way. Check it out.

Do any of these sites include the length of each track? That's one thing I used to like about CDnow. It made it easier to choose the right song in Kazaa if you knew how long it should be.

AMG lists track lengths. But why don't you just go and have a look yourself? It would have taken less time for you to visit all these sites, than it took you to type your post asking us this question.

Very good site for music. You can get information on just about every band. I like it a lot because it will list bands similiar ones to you like. I have found so many bands this way, it's great.

That's not true. It's not just a matter of clicking on one link to check out an entire website. I would have had to type in a few searches and experiment with each one to find out what they have to offer. I spend so much time here it's easier just to ask for people's opinion before I waste my time on another site.

And by the way, thanks. I think AMG will be my new site for CD info.
