My Grandad used to say; " Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. " He lived to be 85...and was pretty damn strong !
A good friend gave me a cap that said; " The worst day fishing is better than the best day working ". I've spent many, many fishless days on the water considering myself lucky.

I read this a few years back, and it the most true statement I've ever read.
Feelings:
