There are more good Sequels as u may noticed yet:

Hot Shots 1 +2 was the same level (and i liked them)

and Die Hard not bacame worse a bit (actually part 3 was great)

Indiana Jones 3 was damn good (ok part 2 wasnt so great)

....

well bad sequels were definitly stuff like Fly2 or Scary movie 2 and the millions u all mentioned....
just dont hate them because they are sequels......

I own all the Scream films on vhs, I thought the first one was pretty good, and the other 2 were alright, but they were pretty good as a trilogy. The 2nd one just seemed like a make more money sequal, but 3 tied them together and explained everything.

How about one of the first blockbusters to cash in on sequel mania - Jaws. The first was great, the second was tolerable, but once they lost Roy Scheider and stooped to 3D (the ultimate sequel gimmick), it was just awful. And I can&#39;t even comment on part 4 because to this day I refuse to watch it.

Matrix: 2, 3- the first one was good the others weren&#39;t that good.
