Done, and done

I have a problem with the current TV Superman bearing a resemblance to Eugene/Dan Levy so I'm probably not going to be on board with this.
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/he...or-warner-brosJ.J. Abrams is producing the feature, which, according to sources, is being set up as a Black Superman story.
I know this is probably racist but you can, you know, just create new black characters instead of re-writing history.
I'm assuming Superman is also going to be gay now too because of course.

Thank you much.
I don't think that last is necessary, cuz Green Lantern.
Of course, now that Stan Lee has passed, there are more to choose from.
I think The Hulk would be the logical choice.
On second thought, gay Superman would be quite an achievement.

But it's all just a coincidence, reich?
Respect my lack of authority.
Last year Ted Budd introduced the "No Pay For Proxy Voting Act."
He just filed a letter with the House Clerk to proxy vote "due to the ongoing public health emergency."
He's in Orlando speaking at CPAC.
Last year Madison Cawthorn said Dems who used pandemic proxy voting were "cowards for hiding and not showing up to work."
He just filed with the House Clerk to proxy vote as the relief bill comes up "due to the ongoing public health emergency."
He's also in Orlando speaking at CPAC.

Green Lantern is more an inherited title rather than a specific, unique character and therefore basically anyone, even aliens can be and are Green Lanterns. Hal Jordan being Black doesn't effect anything.
Also in the comic Gotham High, Alfred Pennyworth now has a husband, Bruce Wayne is Chinese and Commissioner Gordon is an African-American woman. All of this would be fine if, like with a black Superman, the only reason it wasn't being done was to suit some people's agenda with a bonus big fu to everyone else.
Respect my lack of authority.
I'll give you the answer any Democrat would - it's situational.
Political 'water' will always find a way though the wall of legalisms.
Boy, you're really off into that stuff.
Super heroes - even fake ones like Greenie - are a fairly exclusive club, which makes their diversity even more amazing.
And also, I thought it was Bruce Wang.

I wrote this comment on another forum when someone posted the trailer for Batwoman, in which the titular heroine reminded us she was female approximately every 500 nanoseconds.
But maybe this is a "go all the way to the other extreme and things will even out eventually" situation, I don't know.
This could actually be decent without all GIRL POWAH stuff going on... make no mistake, I'm all for equality, inclusion and respect, and it's good that some effort at all is being made towards that. However, the vibe I get from this trailer in particular (and other movies and TV shows in general) is less "anyone can be a hero" and more "we put a woman as the main character because we're so progressive, and we will let you know; oh, and she's a lesbian, too". To quote an analogy, it's as respectful as the Ku Klux Klan appointing a few token blacks as members...
