check out ghost dog!
i have and its good but i think the money spent on the last samurai will make it a much higher class of film.

don't forget theres not jus' tom cruise in it there many japanese people who have been trained to act as samurai.

merry christmas ya'll

Tom Cruise can be glad they used trained professionals who knows how to handle a sword. During filming something went wrong with some equipment and Tom Cruise nearly got his head chopped off. Wonders what would have happened if the guy holding the sword was another normal hollywood actor.

I don't think everyone should criticise Tom Cruise for his past roles (Even though Minority Report was a great film) Just watch The Last Samurai with a clear mind and you might like it

Nice to see some other Ghost Dog fans. It's one of the best 'arthouse' movies I've ever seen. I normally stay away from such low budget productions, but I caught it at a small cinema in another state.

Anyways, The Last Smurai looks sweet, whether tom cruise is or isn't a good actor, it'll be worth watching.
